How Does it Work?

Twelve residents live in a caring environment with the support and security of a live-in House Manager. The House Manager prepares and serves the daily lunches and dinners. Breakfast food is available for each Resident’s own preparation. The House Manager is also responsible for regular cleaning and maintenance of all common area and acts as a support to the Residents.

Residents enjoy their own private bedsitting area including an ensuite bath with large energy efficient picture windows making each suite bright and airy. Each suite has access to a cozy, bright interior sitting area in both north and east resident wings lit by skylights. A large common dining room and great room with a fire place where Residents can enjoy the company and companionship along with delicious and nutritious home cooked meals. There is a cozy library room with imported heated stone floors with access to reading materials and a large screen television. French doors open off the dining/great room and central hallway leading to a shady covered veranda and a large courtyard for summer enjoyment. Gardens and raised flowerbeds complete the landscape.

To ensure your comfort, all suites have heated hardwood floors in the bed sitting room area and heated ceramic floors in the private ensuite baths, both incorporating barrier free designs.

Costs are shared equally by the residents. As a not-for-profit residence, all income is applied to operating costs. The current rate for each Resident is $1,800.00 per month, which includes the Resident’s suite, meals and all utilities, except the Resident’s own personal cable and telephone. The monthly fee also includes free parking and laundry equipment available for the Resident’s use. Each Resident is provided with a storage locker.
